the breakup

im not so sure how well this blog is going to come off but im going to write it anyways...

the other day i read a friends blog and heard the same theme for the millionth time before i even read one sentence...we all hear it over and over again when relationships are on the rocks...go on guess...figured it out yet...ok here it is, "but we've been through so much together" and this is often followed by something of the sorts of how "we are so much closer now" having been through hell and back times ten...im not an advocate of breaking up whenever shit hits the fan but i am an advocate for reason in conjunction with emotion... continual denial of reality and situational ignorance never works in the end for any subject matter...

society has told us in movies and fairytales that everything will work out, from cinderella to how to lose a guy in 10 days to edtv to shrek...there are plenty more examples of "getting back together" in the entertainment industry except for the one i watched last night...the breakup...girly movie some might say but its vince vaughn's twist and a nice mirror of reality i think it actually was for a chick flick...if u havent seen it im going to spoil it for you right now...they dont get back together, period.

now i could continue to write examples, reasons, emotions on this topic but im going to leave it off here because those who understand my mode of thought on the matter need no further explaination and those that think in the manner im describing ought to consider how cliche their life is...but who am i to know anything, ive never been in a serious boyfriend/girlfriend relationship but the funny thing is, these mentalities also play into our life relationships with friends and family, so take what u want from this, agree or disagree, but in the end, cheers because we all faulter on the tug between emotion and reason, reality and realitytv.
